ACUTE-140 : Over the last few years the Indian government has worked hard to include components of globally recognized Intelligent Transportation Systems standards (ITS). This standard ensures that the present transportation infrastructure is optimized. It also improves the whole system’s quality, comfort, safety, and efficiency. The Automotive Indian Standard (AIS)-140 standard was developed by the agency. In most areas, AIS 140 GPS VLTD certified by ICAT commercial vehicle tracking devices are now required in all business vehicles.
